Hey Sly it's about time you made this movie as I grew up I saw all your Rocky movies and was left with the thought of at the begining of rocky 5 you were left with brain damage and could not fight and lost everything and went back to your home town, this left me thinking for alot of years when were you going to make Rocky 6 and become champion and get everything back that you lost...
You should have used Mike Tyson in Rocky 6 and and put some hurten bombs on him...

I would really like to know where POE stands. As much as I am looking forward to the final Rocky, I appreciate it when Sly takes chances as he did with F.I.S.T., Oscar and Copland.
I guess Sly is a Edgar Allen Poe fanatic! and has been for many many years! It is mentioned on his A@E Biography special that was packaged with the Rocky Anthology DVD set! I bought that the first day that is was released 2 years ago. The movie "Poe" sounds like a very artistic and interesting idea, I would definitely see it if Sly chooses to make it!:) - Aron Scott

yeah, but at least he is still living, lol, like some rumors said he dies in this film....who cares really if he wins or loses. Like Rocky 1, he didn't win, it was a draw. It wasn't about winning, just about going the distance. Full circle like the first one..

Yes, Apollo won by a split decision (2 judges for Apollo, 1 for Rocky). The editing is weird at the end, but like the above blogger said, the outcome wasn't important. GO ROCKY!

I hope the Rocky Balboa statue makes an appearance in this film! The dedication for the statue took place last month, so I wonder if Sly was able to use it during filming or not. I am so glad that it was put back where it BELONGS!, it better ALWAYS be sitting there at the top of the steps of the Art Museum, looking over the city of Philly! It better NOT EVER be removed from that spot, it actually should be declared a National Landmark! I am going to visit Philadelphia someday and see the statue in person!:) - Aron Scott

I love that line in the trailer where Rocky says " I THINK THERE'S SOMETHIN IN THE BASEBENT " and then points at the heart. I can't wait to see this movie!!!

Thank God, that even at age 60, one of a rare few true action heroes we have had in the last 30 years is still in great shape and starring in obviously our final look at the tremendous story of a true battler in Rocky Balboa, with real heart in the ring, and a bigger, kindly, loving heart for all those in his world. Sly Stallone's writing and creating was a truly classic story of a simple man,
and his dreams, brought to life through his portrayal by the only man who could make him "Rocky". Stallone himself. You look at a Tom Cruise, the
"i like to do my own stunts" Mr action hero of late, and is truly hilarious. This little sawed-off shrimp is a real fragment of what all the great were.
Heck, at 60 years old, Stallone could slap him senseless, and toss him in a busted up heap with one arm tied up. Even Sean Connery, the very old, and original 007, could even now easily.. whip the tar out of him. So lets not forget guys like "Rocky", and all of the real action heroes we have seen. Tom Cruise an action hero?........... Now thats a true "Mission Impossible"!

Id just like to say, agreeing with stallone, action movies have gone downhill. when i was a kid (im 19now) Rocky, Rambo, demolition man were all the movies i grew up with, to me a hero isnt science fiction, a hero idol is stallones given image of rocky. although the movies arent as hi-tec or colourful as they are today, the stories are too inspring to comprehend, it seems that directors today cannot re create what has been done in the past, as for action heroes i vote stalloone, lookin forward to rocky6 anyone know release data for dvd?:P also i just bought the anthology set.. does that mean im gonna be one short and have to re-buy the next anthology hehe. oh yea stallone if you read this, i know your dream is directing, but dont forget your fans want to see you, not your name in the movie they want to see the character you create through your acting. good work and rocky rox :D

Syl, I reamember your very first based movies and I have to hand it to you. Just like "Rocky" you came along way. Every movie you are in is on the edge of your seat thriller. In my opinion your movie with the fight with Mr. T was the best Rocky movie ever. However, after seeing this trailer... well I know your going to give it the one two knock out punch of your acting career. Sly, I mean this God bless you and thank you for all the fun times you brought to this kid who is now 41... through the years. I know your fmaily is proud of you as I am to watch your movies. I am 40 and I grew up with ROCKY Its about time we saw more of these motavational movies!! Stallone is awesome and Rocky will always be my favorite movie. I watch all 5 over and over, these movies are my motivation in everything I do. It's funny how when I watch Rocky against Drago for the hundredth time I still ask myself with my hair on end, "Think Rock will do it?" Sly, thank you for finally making a dream come true for me, that is being able to watch Rocky Balboa on the big screen.
Look forward to this movie, Stallone is possibly the greatest action hero ever.
Hope this movie is a winner, it takes guts to do this kind of a movie at 60.
Today's action stars are dwarfs compared to the likes of Sly Stallone or Schwarzenegger.
