Paulie is great. I have to confess that since I was born (1985) all my life and a way of thinking, struggling problems was inspired by the Rocky. Nice pic.; I always liked Paulie throughout the series. He was very gracious to the fans during the Vegas filming; I'll always remember that about Burt Young.
It´s so amazing to see Paulie and Rocky together again. Me and my friend Jonny, we are maybe the greatest rocky fans in germany! Yooohh Sly, don´t you forget, in our minds, you´re still the champion.

Just joining this blog, I wanted to comment on the trailer. Im a nano-second later in the trailer, it appears that Rocky is placing red flowers (Roses perhaps) downward and outdoors. I take it that his wife is deceased, and T. Shire will not have anything to do with Rocky 6. I guess she's too busy doing ..........???
Burt Young has to be one of the most underated actors in Hollywood. I will go to a movie if he is in it. From Chinatown to Convoy to Rocky to Mickey Blue Eyes, his characters always seem to play a pivitol, important and entertaining role in a way only he could deliver it.
I agree with what someone said here... making RB is/was a bold move. Just consider all the opposition and ridicule. It takes courage and belief. Not to mention the enromous amount of work that went into a labor of love.
It just highlights how underatted Sly is as an artist and human being. Can't help but look up to someone like that...

I'm just wondering. The woman from the trailer who says "fighters fight". Is that the same actor who played Rocky's sons girlfriend in Rocky 5?

No that was Elisebeth Peters that played the girlfriend named Jewel. The girl in the trailer is most likely Lil' Marie being played by Geraldine Hughes.

Hey, I heard this rumour too... am thinkin that's all it is though as he isnt listed as a cast member on the IMDB. That said, neither is Mike Tyson - and I believe he also cameo's in the movie (they've made a figure off him for the merchandise too!)

I was hopin MR.T would make a cameo in this film... it would be awesome.. the great thing is He wrote and directed this move.. just like rocky 1,2 and 3 which were all awesome movies.. rocky III was my fav it has all of the movies wrapped up into one.. he was king of the world he got knocked down and then got back to the top.. great inspirational movie

I am very excited about this movie. Everytime I watch Rocky (the first one) I get the same chills, inspiration, and tears as when I FIRST watched it. The ending always brings such elation. I think it is the perfect movie. Best movie ever made, hands down. Some of you people are extremely rude on here. But I am no stranger to it, you morons are increasing by numbers.
But what matters is the people who believe, those who fight for their dreams, even if they do or don't have a fighting chance. What matters is love, endurance, faith, strength, and all the beautiful things that fuel your fire and passion for life and your dreams.
I just can't wait for this Rocky to come out. I think maybe Talia isn't in this one for some reason..(a tiny hint in the trailer..), I will miss her, she was such a strong character in all the movies, but now December is going to be a greatly anticipated month for me..I will have a birthday, I will be married, Christmas, and ROCKY SIX!!

I think this is going to be a great film. I also think rocky could of fought someone more ferocious like Tyson, Hopkins or lenox lewis mabe even roy jones. Tarver isn't even that good. replacing him woulda made the movie even more better. But thats just my opinion. It will still be good though.

I am a huge Rocky Balboa fan! I couldn't have been happier when I read about the new movie. If I had one wish it would be to meet the wonderfull and very talented Sylvester Stallone!
I'm curious to see how they get around the fact that Rocky couldn't get medical clearance to fight 15 yeaqrs ago due to brain damage; yet now he can. Hopefully, there is a very good explanation for this or else the entire storyline loses all credibility.
Don't get me wrong, I've been a HUGE fan of the Rocky movies since 1976, but I always felt that "Rocky V" was a mistake that should never have been made and hopefully the upcoming "Rocky Balboa" will bring redemption to the character of Rocky and allow the "Rocky" franchise to end with dignity and honor.

its incredible... rocky is the most caracter to inspirate to me to train hard, im a tennis teacher, i have to feel me most powerfull in my body. i love the history of rocky...
