Just watched the new trailer on Yahoo and as excited as I am to see it I really feel it's not as tight and exciting as the first trailer but - still it captures the direction of the film but I must admit the rap song worries me. I love rap but that song seems pretty lame, I hope it's not a big part of the film.

The trailer has finally come! Rocky will prove all them naysayers wrong once he goes into that ring and show what he's got to Dixon. Them journalists in the movie got some nerve, but they don't know Rocky like we all do :-) ROCKY all the way!!!!

I like how you still incorporate the original Rocky music otherwise i might think twice about seeing it.
I think the press guy is asking Mason Dixon how feels about fighting a Balboasaurus, as if Rocky is a dinosaur. I love the realism of the movie with the real HBO boxing guys. I like Larry Merchant's comment about it being billed as an exhibition, so it doesn't have to be called an execution. I am maybe the biggest Rocky fan ever, but even I had my doubts about how he would deal with the whole "age" issue. Honestly, though, it seems like he pulled it off by making it a central part of the movie, and not running from it.
Rocky sequels 3 and 4 had new music tht really rocked. The old music sounds great, though. New music sounded good too. The trailer is just outstanding.
A journalist labeled Rocky as "Balboa-saurus" probably in reference to a dinosaur and Rocky's age. I think is what was said in the preview. Then again, I could be wrong.

Details of the new trailer the wait of the film left a bigger anxiety. The scene of the conjunct of Rocky in ringue, Mason Dixon arguing on the talent of Rocky in the collective one of the press, the dialógos of Rocky with its son and Dixon defying Balboa. It was very good, although for being seemed the first one. “CUT ME, “MICK”” “It ain't to over, 'till it's to over”! Edmundo, a super fan of Brazil!

I do belive the UK-realese is January 19th, someone said that. The movie opens up in sweden on that day so... Biggest problem is to stay away from the fact how the entire thing ends.
So after being ringside for last nights fight, I had to ask larry merchant and jim lampley how they liked filming Rocky Balboa, they all loved it and sais the fights scenes are unbelievable!

I like the concept of Rambo IV being an homage to classic action rather than making it in the mode of contemporary CGI contrivances. I was apprehensive that it was going to be Rambo playing host to a bunch of actors from the WB to establish a mercenary army. I'm glad it's going back to basics.
I hear no mention of Too Notorious even though IMDB has it in pre-production along with Rambo IV. Is that project now abandoned alltogether?

I saw the new trailer at Casino Royale. I really couldn't tell much of a difference from the first one, only a couple of different shots and some new music added. Either way, exciting to see.
just got back from the screening of rocky balboa - F-ing amazing, stallone back to his best, almost made me cry twice! i cant wait to see it again on general release on opening night with a packed house! a great way to end the series... what rocky 5 shouldve been but wasnt!

sly, i saw you once in Grand central Station- youve been an inspiration to me scince I was a kid working out in brooklyn,The movie Rocky was more to me about a struggling boxer but I always related to him- you know going for it, the real goal being proving to myself that I could DO IT!!!- Ive boxed and did Pro wrestling, I just want to tell you that YOU have picked me up at my lowest and brang me self esteam when I needed it most- I dont know if youll ever read this but thanks Sly.

To any men or women that are secretly hurting children.Stop!! and admit that the secrets that you hold will slowly kill you and everyone around you.It's ok to be afraid-It's not ok to allow the secret to continue to hurt and destroy innocent children. My name is Fergal Mulcahy and I'm desperate to know the result of this film. Man, you don't know just how desperate; i'm just waiting fot the answer to Come.
I once said "Everything I ever needed to know, I learned from Rocky." As a kid, I learned to believe in myself when noone else did. I learned to win when I wasn't supposed to win and to keep winning time after time by outworking and outtraining everyone else until everyone just expected me to always win - athletically and academically. Through it all, there was Rocky - in my mind, on the stereo, the sound of Mic telling me to go one more round. Sometimes, I'd even watch Rocky II before a competition or exam - just to put me in the right mindset. I learned the power of a love strong enough to inspire nearly superhuman achievements - I understood "Win Rocky Win" first hand. I also experienced the incredibly crushing pain of losing the person I loved most and seemingly everything else that mattered to me. I asked myself if there was any point in continuing. But, through it all, there was Rocky. I saw the trailer yesterday. Two points spoke to me: 1) "It is not about how hard you can hit - it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward" 2) "It isn't about the winning - it is about the doing" - I will keep moving forward. I will keep doing. I feel that given what Sly did for all of use in writing Rocky, the least I can do is get up one more round. If you are doing the right thing what is there to fear? Thank you Sly.
Bottom line - life goes by in a blink and at the end of it, it isn't the number of years in the life that matter, it is the amount of life in the years. JS

Just saw the movie - right on. Rocky V just left a bad taste in my mouth. I wish it had never been made. This final installment made things right. Rocky went out properly with nothing more to prove to himself or anyone else. He did it on his terms, following his heart, and without regard to what the wormy little critics thought - did I mention that I hate Larry Merchant :) All in all, this is by far the best Rocky since the first two of the series. Great job of writing and directing and bringing the entire series full circle. A complete composition ties up the loose ends and takes you back to the introduction. Rocky is now complete. Rest well Champ...you've earned it.
A good conclusion takes you full circle to the introduction. Rocky V wasn't it. This final installment is. It ties up all loose ends and is by the best since the first two of the series. Rocky is complete. Rest now Champ; you've earned it.
