AS i can see there's just one big big mistake in this big big movie...Sly doesn't act Rocky but himself and this is very strange and not so good at all. Listening to him acting i can't really understand who's speaking. Rocky doesn't use so much hands shaking while he's talking. It's a small thing but very very important i think. Sly instead do it often and this is the point. However he is still my hero.

Amazing Clips. Just a little personal story about this movie, what is going to make it so great to me is, im 23, and my dad great up watching all the Rocky balboa movies in the theaters.. i was Born in 1983, and the only movie i watched in the theater was Rocky V. My dad and I are really close so when i got older i watched all the movies and became a HUGE fan. Now its just going to be really neat going to the theater with my dad and watching a brand new one together.. I cant wait..

For anyone who ever had heart. Even when they lost and tried again and again. All true fighters love to fight. They love the sting of the battle. There is something in us that makes us want to go the distance. I am like that myself Doctors said i would never beable to go the distance. But I always Give it my all to go the distance. Even when everyone says I won't come out alive. My friends that know me well have seen how much heart I have and even when everyone says to swallow your pride. I came out even harder to prove them wrong. It isn't about if you win or lose. When your heart is on fire you will give everything to go the distance. That is why Rocky Means so much to us. When we get knocked down and your hurting and you think you can't get up. All that matters is that we get up just to go one more round. Cuz going that one more round when you can't really defines who you are.

Amazing! Thank you so much! Rocky does not premier in the UK until February, according to what I read. The rink scene brought tears to my eyes - reminds that we have to take care of the people in our lives while they are with us and not regret later.

What I love about the clips is you can see the parallel between the way the character is viewed and the way Stallone has been viewed as an actor. I mean, he has created such an endearing movie icon of all time....and people always ragged on him as an actor. How many present day movie stars & directors have done that? A character who has motivated people, and makes their heart pound in anticipation every time you watch the films. When I see the clips it almost seems like Stallone is talking about himself. As the character rises about the adversity in the film so does Stallone as an artist and film maker. No matter what the critics say, I KNOW this is film that will speak to your heart, if you listen. I appluad Stallone for jumping back in the ring, as the character will be appluaded. I never seen the first ROCKY in the theatres as I was too young, but I know this will be the experience I have always wanted. Thanks SLY!

For everybody overseas, you do have a bit of break because the movie comes out later. You have more time to train! I trained real hard to be in shape for "Rocky Balboa" on December 20, and I am ready, but it was tough. As a self-respecting Rocky fan, I wanted to be in shape for this one.

So make good use of the extra weeks you have, and be ready! It will be great to watch this movie in the theatre, where big-screen movies like Rocky should be watched!

Best wishes to everyone.

When I first heard about this movie, I thought it was going to be a total joke. My friends and I all joked about it, but when we went to see Casino Royale at the Ziegfeld in New York, the Rocky trailer came on, and the crowd went nuts.

Nobody can claim that this movie will be a modern masterpiece or change the world, but just based on the trailer, I'm convinced Stallone will show most of his naysayers wrong (I consider myself a since reformed naysayer). I'll be seeing this movie opening week as will many people I know.

Expect a surprise hit - this movie will be one of the most entertaining of the season... bet on it.

Watching the scene with Rocky and Paulie was really sad because you can tell that Paulie was really heartbroken at the way he treated Adrian in the past but still in Rocky's mind she lives on. As happy as she can be. Therefore she lives on. R.I.P. Adrian Rocky lives forever.

As a die-hard Rocky fan (and one of many who served as an extra at the filming of "Rocky Balboa") I wanted to say a few words in defense of the film. The film, admittedly, is important to me on a very personal level. My parents' first date was to the original "Rocky" in 1976. Four years later, they would be married and have their first son, who was later diagnosed with a neurological disorder. The doctors said they could perform a procedure to treat the condition, but that I would still likely suffer from mental/physical retardation. My parents did not listen to the doctors, and had the surgery performed anyway.

Thirty-years after "Rocky" premiered, I was living in Las Vegas, pursuing a doctorate at UNLV, and was able to participate as an extra in the filming of the last movie in the series.

Despite all the criticism of Stallone being too old to credibly do another "Rocky" and that this film is just another example of Hollywood going back to a dry well, this film will be a success for me (however it fares at the box office or with the critics)if it delivers the message that, from what I've seen about the film, I think Stallone was trying to get across.

A lot has been written about how the message of the film is that you are never too old to compete and chase your dreams if you have the will and desire. This, in and of itself,is a great message, and one that is important in a society that tends to accept ageism. However, I hope that "Rocky Balboa" is not just about Rocky finding the will to take on an opponent in the ring. I also hope the film builds on the theme that you are never too old to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and to repair rifts with loved ones. From what I have read of film's story, it seems like Rocky begins the film with a pretty empty life, estranged from his son and largely alone. Through the events of the story, Rocky is not only able to reconnect with his son, but he is able to give Marie and her son Steps a new shot at a better life, and even build on his relationship with Paulie, his oldest and dearest friend. One could even say he has a positive impact on his opponent, Mason Dixon, who, although a very skilled fighter, has never had to compete with anyone who has real heart.

It is my hope that the message of "Rocky Balboa" is not only that the the fire to compete need not die with age, but also that it is never too late to find new hope and new reasons to go on living. I hope it also makes people realize that a person's will can allow them to transcend physical limitations, and achieve the unexpected.

If this film conveys this message to at least some degree, it will be worth watching and remembering. I guess we'll find out December 20th.

The Rocky saga is the greatest movie series ever made (Rambo is another icon classic saga) . I have been a stallone fan since i first saw Rocky 3. i remember at 11 years old seeing Rocky 4 at the movie theater on thanksgiving day ...it was sold out...people were paying to see it standing or sitting on the floor. The whole theater cheered as Rocky showed Ivan Drago who was the Boss. Everytime Rocky had the upperhand the people in the audience went nuts as if this were an actual match. We all wanted Rocky to win. Rocky is more than the most sucessful sports action series ever its a story of life, love. Overcoming the odds. Thats why so many millions and millons of people love Rocky. I have a soft spot for Stallone...he is such a great writer ,director. He is one of my heros . Thank you to Mr. Stallone.

I saw the movie for a 2nd time tonight at another sneak preview and enjoyed it even more. The use of location really hits home and it earns your respect rather than taking its audience for granted.

I concede that it does lay its message on a little thick at times, with sentiments better left implied than stated outright. However, if you are a genuine fan or a casual one, you will be pleased with the results.

Just saw the movie. It is great, I will give absolutely nothing away. I have been looking forward to it since I heard it was being filmed, and I was definitely not let down. The people in the theatre were cheering and clapping. The story is great, the acting is great, the fight is great. Stallone got right back into this character and delivers a great performance. I was not sure about Tarver, as we are used to Rocky fighting bigger than life opponents, but he held his own, was conviencing, and I was impressed with his acting debut. It was a great movie going experience and I cannot wait to go see it again over the weekend. We are used to seeing Rocky do the same things over and over as we watch the first 5 movies over and over, don't get me wrong, they are all great movies, but there was something special about seeing this character do something different and have a fight that we did not know the outcome of. Whether a fan or not, which I would find hard to believe, go see this movie.

Jeez!! I can't believe how good this movie looks. When I first heard Sly was making a sixth in which he'd be fighting I thought it was a joke. A desperate, last ditch attempt from a down and out actor to regain some fame. But this film looks AMAZING. The beauty of the film is that its literally life imitating art. The sceptics in the film who doubt a 60 year old Rocky's credentials as a boxer can easily be the sceptics who doubt a 60 year old Stallone's ability to pull off a sixth Rocky. I really hope this film delivers a knockout blow to all the doubters. Gonna fly now!!!!!!!!

Rocky Balboa was a knockout i never thought there would be a sixth one but thanks to sylvester stallone the movie was so inspiring. rocky told you about life and the world and how it is hard to live by but like he said in the movie it does not matter how hard you get hit but if you get up and keep on going. there are really no words to describe how touching and how heartfelf the movie was. Rocky 6 was the icing on cake. Sly like always did a dynamic job playing as Rocky. the things i've learned is to fight and never give up and like rocky do it for love glory and self-respect. and just never give up because you may get hit hard but your heart will take over and you will still be standing

This was one of the best Rocky films yet. My favorites or course are I and II but this one has a uniqueness that everyone can relate to. It involves the feeling of getting older and still wondering if you are made of what you used to be. It deals with looking back and missing all the moments and people you had or have in your life and realizing that you can still act or feel like you once did. This movie not only reminded me of my own father but was an inspiration to myself and realizing that life is precious and to always enjoy every moment. This is a wonderful and endearing movie. How precious!

Never in cinema has a character captured the spirit of the "underdog overcoming insurmountable odds” scenario like the Rocky character. Rocky epitomizes the never quit, never settle, always keep going mentality. One that parallels Mr. Stallone's life I would guess. And one that I have adopted in my life since watching the first Rocky in 1976.

This movie was amazing and ends the Rocky saga with the class and heart that this character so richly deserved. It's only fitting that the last installment is the best of the Rocky series, only second to the original, which was and still is a classic. Rocky Balboa is a truly inspiring movie and one that Sly should be very proud of. I applaud you Mr. Stallone. And thank you for this gift.

All I can say is that I never thought I would be lucky enough to say I went to the movies to see a NEW Rocky film. I heard it was good, and usually when you have high expectations it is much easier to be disappointed but WHACK! What a hit! I loved it. They just couldn't have done it better. I almost cry just thinking about it. I have the soundtrack from Rocky IV too. Evertime I hear it I just wanna run!

I love what the rocky franchise is based on, which is courage, faith and overcoming the odds no matter what. I've always been a fan of every Rocky movie. Although i'll have to say i was very disappointed with the movie. Plot was good, story line was boring and needed more ooomp in it. To my surprise Roeper of Ebert & Roeper fame gave it a thumbs up. Check out his review at http://www.atthemoviestv.com. This is a great site for full length, high production movie reviews. Just thought i'd share since i work with Disney

Rocky … Baloa

What a phenomenally written masterpiece! This story comes from the very depths of the human soul.
Written with such passion and wit, and gut wrenching humanity. Mr. Stallion is brilliant! As a writer and an actor. It is pure magic when a writer can tug at your heart strings like this!
Thank you,
Karen
